Two budgets
Two budgets for one evening
Two people at one casino are two budgets, not one shared pot. The tool below keeps dinner, each person's amount and the leaving time apart, so both of you know the plan before the drive.

Two amounts, kept apart
Before the two of you leave home, each person settles on one amount that can be lost without harm. Decide it at home, calmly, not once you are standing on the floor. Dinner at The Well Public House is its own line, set aside before either amount is counted. Write both figures down.
Should one of you reach an amount early, the other person's money stays untouched. Nothing is borrowed, and nothing moves over from the dinner line. A limit describes what you are prepared to spend; it is never a figure to chase back once it has gone.
If you would like the limits held somewhere other than memory, PlayPlanner comes with Encore Rewards. Each member can set personal time and money limits and see a record of wins and losses.
Two budgets, one evening
Dinner and each person's own amount, kept on separate lines.
- Dinner
- Guest one
- Guest two
Write dinner on one line and each person's amount on its own line. Divide each amount by the hours you plan to stay: that is the most that person spends in any one hour. When an amount is gone, that person's play is over, whatever the clock says.
A leaving time, agreed early
Agree on a leaving time before you arrive, and treat it the way you treat the money: set once, then kept. The floor closes at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and at 1 a.m. after Friday and Saturday. A later close is uncertain, and a call to 604-701-3800 settles it, holiday hours included.
Should a reminder help, PlayPlanner lets an Encore Rewards member set a personal time limit beside the money limit.
